If you're looking to enrich your dog's life and provide them with some socialization time, here are the steps to follow!
1. Pick up an application or print out the one below.
2. Return your application to us for review.
3. Set up an evaluation day for your dog!
Following the evaluation, we will explore the best ways to meet your dog's unique needs. Every dog is individual, and our goal is to ensure that your pet has the most positive experience possible in a social environment.
We will post a weekly schedule of which type of enrichment activities we will be having each day, every Sunday on our Facebook page! Here is an explanation of the different types of enrichment we offer!
Physical Enrichment
-altering the environment allowing the dogs to explore their natural behaviors
We do this by using our splash pad, playing fetch, taking individual walks, interacting in pool play outside and playing on multi-level play equipment, to just name a few!
Cognitive Enrichment
-combatting boredom by encouraging physical play that requires mental engagement
We accomplish this by using our treadmill, having training sessions, playing with bubbles, using ball pits in numerous ways, working with agility, etc.
Sensory Enrichment
-provide a safe, stimulating environment for dogs to explore their 5 senses of sight, smell, sound, taste and touch
We are excited to introduce the dogs to our themed enrichment rooms that will have a variety of surfaces, scents and sights for the dogs to explore. Each room will be a 1-on-1 experience where treats can be used in puzzle toys and snufflemats.
Social Enrichment
-positive social environment for engagement with other dogs, people and new situations
We do this in our regular day camp groups, working in small groups or in solo, 1-on-1, work with individual staff members. Our groups play in a variety of environments - our outside play areas, our indoor day camp, indoor splash pad or in our surrounding area, when out on a walk.
